Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour rolls into town...
South Africa's most anticipated and highly rated cycle tour rides into town on the 8 March 2009. The Cape Argus Pick ‘n Pay Cycle Tour is a monumental challenge for all cyclists who enter, including many internationals who fly in specifically for the race. The 109km route is a gruelling test of power, stamina and heart, with many not finishing or making the cut. Kilowatt AV is proud to be associated with this legendary competition, providing full technical support for all facets of the race.
The Cycle Tour Trust is also very pleased to announce that Chapman's Peak will be open on Race Day Sunday. After an independent inspection was done, The Trust are comfortable that the safety of the cyclists will not be compromised and are delighted that this iconic part of the route will be enjoyed again this year.
More good news on Kilowatt AV's side is that following many high level meetings, we have secured a five-year contract with the Cycle Tour Trust, to provide full technical support for all of their events. Some of the races included are the Giro Del Capo, The Mountain Bike Challenge, Tricycle Tour and the Junior Tour.
